Develop and deliver school counseling curriculum through appropriate courses within the division
Assist and support students in the areas of emotional and social development
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to better understand and meet the needs of all students
Provide individual and small group counseling as needed
Make appropriate referrals of students and parents to outside agencies and specialists when necessary
Be visible in school by participating in a variety of activities that allows for development of trust and relationships with students
Continually plan, evaluate, and revise the school counseling program
Pursue continuous professional development and growth
Support Stuart's Diversity and Inclusion initiative and serve on the Diversity Committee
Prepare students for emotional and social transition to next level (lower to middle, middle to high school, high school to college)
Conduct small group counseling sessions in response to identified needs within the school Anxiety, friendships, perfectionism etc...
Work in partnership with other members of the counseling team and student support staff.
Arrange and/or provide workshops and assemblies as needed for the school community
Consult with students' mental health professionals to ensure students are being appropriately supported
Potentially teach counseling or psychology in the Lower, Middle or Upper Schools
