The Albany Academies – Albany Academy for Girls & The Albany Academy – practice a leadership model of education combining individual attention to students with project-based learning and demanding academics. We also combine single-gender education through the 10th grade with a co-educational program for juniors and seniors. For more than 200 years, the Academies have led the way in the Capital Region.
We are seeking the following position:
Upper School Science —Biology – Full Time
Teach Four Sections of Science
Advise 8-12 Upper School girls
Attend Bi-Weekly Department Meetings
Supervise Community Service Activities
Perform Daily Study Hall Coverage Duties
Coach One Sport or Fulfill Another Community Commitment
Note: Ability to teach more than one content area (physics) is a plus but not required

For all teaching positions, a Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s Degree and experience in a private school is preferred.
