Reporting to the Assistant Head of School, the Assistant Director of Admission is responsible for enrollment management and special projects within Admissions department to support admission, financial aid and scholarship review process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high level of customer service to students, parents, visitors, and staff.
Coordinate special projects:
Entrance testing, training student and parent ambassadors
Conduct tours and interviews with Upper School candidates and parents
Oversee and develop international student admission programs
Support The Summit’s Parent Ambassador Program, including: delegating various initiatives, activities, and event coordination
Organizing the Upper School Student Ambassadors program
Assist departmental director with the admission committee review process for Upper School candidates (i.e. financial aid review, merit and endowed support)
Provide general administrative support and serve as backup for Middle and Lower School Admissions
Support marketing initiatives and utilize social media tools to promote enrollment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business or related field.
Minimum of 2+ years administration, educational, and/or budgeting experience.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of industry related best practices.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
