Boston University Academy (BUA) is seeking a full-time humanities teacher for the 2018-2019 academic year. Responsibilities include four sections of honors-level high school English or history, depending on the candidate’s field of expertise. Advising humanities students in their Senior Thesis project and working with students in BUA’s Writing Center may also be needed.
Education and Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience teaching at an independent school or higher education setting is strongly preferred
Advanced degree in a related field required
Boston University Academy is as small, independent, co-educational day high school located on the Boston University campus. Classes are small and discussion-based. Most students in the eleventh grade study three courses at BUA, and take two of their courses at Boston University.
