Grand River Academy is seeking Teaching Fellows for 2018-2019 school year with a start date of 6/28/18. Must be able to work nights and weekends and live in Academy housing for the duration of assignment. Grand River Academy is a college preparatory boarding and day school located in Austinburg, Ohio, that serves over 100 young men in grades 8-12, with a post-graduate option. Room and board are provided for the successful candidate
Teaching Fellows participate in all aspects of boarding school life, including teaching, coaching, supervising residential dorms, and participating in the many other activities of the Academy community. To serve as a positive role model for Grand River Academy students helping them fulfill their academic potential.
$10,000 stipend paid over 19 pay periods

Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution
Permanent Non-Tax Certificate issued by the State of Ohio
Successful completion of a T-8 physical and a valid drivers license
Successful completion of a background and drug screen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and other computer skills, is required
Ability to work easily with the GRA community, including faculty, students, fellow staff, etc.
