About Adda Clevenger School
Adda Clevenger School was founded in 1980 and follows the educational philosophies of John Dewey and Dr. Isabelle Buckley. Our program rests on the four pillars of academics, arts, athleticism and character building, all of which represent fully integrated components of the curriculum. Our 9-hour school day and year-round academic calendar allow us to offer students a program that is 50% core academic and 50% artistic, physical and creative, with a strong emphasis on character building integrated into all subjects and activities. This combination of the academic, creative and physical into every school day enables our students to advance academically at a much faster pace than students with a less balanced curriculum, to develop healthy physical habits, agility and exceptional core strength, and to become comfortable with self-expression, collaboration and personal interaction.
