Required qualifications include: a bachelor’s degree, rich knowledge of health and wellness issues and developments, facility with strength and conditioning equipment and exercises, fluency with physical education pedagogy, commitment to modeling good health, and dedication to working cooperatively with other teachers to maintain a strong program. The selected candidate should be able to coach multiple sports at the recreational and competitive levels. Founded in 1861, The Pingry School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Situated on two spacious campuses in Basking Ridge and Short Hills, New Jersey, the school draws students of varied talents and diverse backgrounds from over 100 communities in the central New Jersey region.
