Squaw Valley Academy seeks to hire an experienced History/Social Studies teacher for our six-week summer school program, July 2nd to August 10th. Candidates should have demonstrated success teaching to a range of learners and at least two years’ prior teaching experience. Compensation is $5,250 plus room and board.
All teachers are responsible for implementing the current curriculum, which is line with the California state standards. They are also responsible for communicating with SVA administration, chaperoning daily afternoon activities, proctoring two study halls a week, and occasional weekend duties. Boarding school experience is a plus. SVA seeks positive, enthusiastic, and versatile individuals who wish to become an active part of our learning community.
