Buckingham Friends School in Lahaska, PA, is seeking a full time, experienced Middle School Social Studies teacher for grades 6-8 for the 2018-19 school year. Ideally, candidates will have a Master’s degree and at least three years of Middle School teaching experience (grades 6-8). This position is benefits eligible.
This position includes collaboration and planning with other division level peers. All faculty are expected to be active community members, sharing supervisory duties and providing general support and care of the school community within the context of Quaker values. We are looking for knowledgeable candidates who have experience with and delight in working with pre-adolescents. Comfort with and desire to utilize interactive, creative, and inspirational teaching techniques, assessments, and technology in the classroom are desired.
