Buffalo Seminary is an independent day and boarding high school for college-bound girls. Founded in 1851, SEM is located in the historic Elmwood Village neighborhood of Buffalo, New York and is registered on the National Register of Historic Places. Our five student and faculty residences are renovated historic homes adjacent to our school building. Buffalo Seminary seeks a full-time teacher of Biology with a start date of August 2018. Candidates for this position should have a strong background in science with a focus on Biology and preferably a secondary focus on Chemistry. The teacher will be responsible for three (3) sections of General Biology and one section of Honors Biology. Applicants should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, though Master's degree is preferred in an appropriate field. Experience teaching non-native English speakers is also preferred.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm for all-girls education and will embrace diversity and support our inclusive community.
