Ursuline Academy of Dallas is seeking a part-time teacher for three English classes. The ideal candidate will possess
a Master’s degree in English or related field
at least two years teaching experience in English and in-depth knowledge of subject matter
a positive, professional, collaborative work style

The English Department of Ursuline Academy strives to develop students who can enter college with the ability to read, think, and write, both analytically and creatively, and we hope to inspire a lifelong love of reading. In addition, the English program hopes to enable students to become more thoughtful about themselves and their relationship to their place in both the local and global community. Teaching responsibilities could include courses focusing on “The Female Voice” as well as American or World Literature, exploring how the world influences not only our own point of view but also that of the author.
We seek candidates who embrace learner-driven approaches/pedagogy.
Teaching experience in a Catholic and/or independent school and/or all girls’ environment and the ability to teach other sciences and/or math classes is strongly preferred.
