The Science Department of The Hun School of Princeton in Princeton, NJ seeks a full-time Upper School science teacher to teach Physics, to begin fall 2018. Physics is a full-year course geared toward Junior and Senior students and focusing on an inquiry-based approach to the fundamentals of science. Experience in teaching Advanced Placement is preferred and experience in and a willingness to teach Chemistry would be beneficial. Student-centered lesson plans and experiential, project-based learning are increasing emphases at the school. Flexibility in teaching other courses in our dynamic department curriculum is a plus, as is a willingness to enter fully into the life of the school. Hun is a diverse community of boarding and day students with faculty involvement in advising as well as student clubs, sports, and other activities.
