Hebron Academy is seeking a dynamic, flexible, and forward-thinking faculty member to join our Academic Guidance Center for the 2018-2019 school year. Our faculty participate fully in the life of the school -- as teacher, coach, dorm parent, mentor and advisor.

The mission of the Hebron Academy Academic Guidance Center is to empower students of all abilities to become adademically independent and accountable. The Academic Guidance Center is principled on developing academic strategies, greater academic confidence, and self-awareness.
Position responsibilities include:
Supporting, coaching, and advocating for students with diverse learning needs who are enrolled in the Academic Guidance Program.
Working with students to develop strategies to improve in areas such as executive functioning, time management, and organizational skills.
Supervising and supporting students during evening study hall.
Coordinating with and supporting Hebron Academy teaching faculty with student foundational plans and learning strategies.
Overseeing and managing students in concussion protocol.
Assist in creating and managing student academic learning profiles.
Implementing academic support strategies for a wide-ranging student population with diverse learning needs.
Coordinating with the administrators, parents, and teachers to identify and support struggling students.
Acting as a resource for faculty and staff regarding issues of student academic support.
Reviewing academic profiles of incoming students.
Working with college counseling staff to help students make informed college choices.
A Bachelor's degree in special education, education, counseling, or similar field. A Master's degree is preferred.
