The Dalton School seeks a part-time (.6) Middle School and High School Percussion teacher to join its cross-divisional Music Department for the 2018-2019 school year.
Classroom responsibilities include teaching the 5th, 6th, and 7th/8th Grade Percussion Ensembles, and the High School Percussion Ensemble. Candidates should be proficient with a high-performance level one classical percussion and drum set, and have experience teaching technique on the spectrum of pitched and non-pitched instruments. An additional familiarity with non-Western percussion traditions is preferred.
