Waring School, a co-educational, college preparatory day school for Grades 6-12 in Beverly, MA, seeks a STEM Teacher for Fall of 2018. Our ideal candidate is passionate about teaching and sharing their love of science, technology and engineering with our students in all grades and has interest in STEM curriculum development. Responsibilities include the development and teaching of an 8th grade STEM project-based science class, teaching a computer programming elective, and assisting in First Lego League. Other responsibilities may include Makerspace and robotics activities and working with our faculty to integrate STEM skills into existing or new courses. Other academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular interests are highly valued in our learning community. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with Master’s degree and/or two years teaching experience preferred.
