National Cathedral School (NCS) announces a search for a Development Coordinator. Reporting to the Development Operations Manager, this full-time, non-exempt position represents the Development Office as a first point of contact for general phone calls, email, mail, and event registrations. The coordinator ensures timely processing of gifts, acknowledgements, and database report requests. Working alongside program directors, the coordinator supports all Development Office functions, including fundraising, alumnae relations and parent relations, as needed. The successful candidate will provide leadership for management of Development pages on the NCS website and lead the prospect profile system.
Ability to represent NCS and the Development Office with a high degree of professionalism.
Bachelor’s degree and related work experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated event management experience.
The ability to provide a high level of professional service to internal and external customers.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills. The ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically and maintain collaborative working relationships.
The ability to maintain confidentiality, act with discretion, and maintain a high level of performance under pressure.
The ability to work without supervision and to organize, prioritize, and successfully execute multiple concurrent tasks; to anticipate needs and act accordingly, and to perform with a high degree of initiative.
Consistently demonstrates superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
Presence on-site required Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend assignments as needed.
