The Bryn Mawr School seeks a part time (.40%), growth-minded Middle School Spanish teacher to begin August, 2018. Responsibilities include teaching two sections and serving as a member of a grade-level faculty team. A strong educational background, middle school teaching experience, and a genuine desire to teach and learn from young people are required.
Candidates should have interest in teaching highly motivated girls at a school that values not only intellectual pursuits but also building strong relationships and community. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is comfortable using a variety of pedagogical strategies and enjoys working creatively and collaboratively to develop and plan curricula. A desire to take an active role in teaching in a one-to one laptop classroom is essential. The ability to teach French as well is a plus!
