Bishop Hendricken High School, a Roman Catholic, diocesan, secondary school in Warwick Rhode Island, for young men grades 8 to 12, seeks an exceptional educational leader to begin July 1, 2018. The principal reports to the President of the school.
The eligible candidate must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church, hold a minimum of a master’s degree in educational administration, educational leadership or a related field, a doctorate is preferred, and have completed successfully at least five year’s teaching and/or administrative experience. The principal serves as the chief educational leader of the school, administering and supervising the school’s academic programs in conformity with diocesan and local school policies. The principal is responsible for the school’s curriculum, instruction and assessments; student achievement and student programs; the hiring of academic faculty, faculty placements and evaluation; modeling and monitoring teacher professional growth; effective communications with faculty, parents and students, and the management of academic resources.
