We are seeking a full-time Middle School English teacher with experience using a balanced literacy approach, expertise in and enthusiasm for, teaching writing, and a student-centered, culturally responsive philosophy. Experience working with middle school students preferred. Responsibilities may also include advising a major publication, an advisory group, and participating in community events. Requirements: minimum three years teaching experience; Master’s degree in the academic field or in Teaching preferred.
