The Baldwin School is seeking an assistant teacher in the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten program. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with the lead teachers helping girls develop readiness skills. Job duties will include but are not limited to:
Assisting lead teachers in planning, designing, and implementing curriculum.
Providing support for whole class, small group and individual instruction in the classrooms.
Assisting students at lunch time.
Help in maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
Performing car and bus duty.
Attending staff meetings, and serving on committees as required.
Other duties, as assigned.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or elementary education. This position is a fantastic opportunity for new teachers to work directly in a classroom with the support and supervision of our expert faculty.
