Westover School is seeking applicants for the full-time position of history instructor, beginning with the 2018-19 academic year. The ideal candidate possesses a B.A. or an advanced degree in history and has experience teaching both world and American history. The ability and experience with Advanced Placement US History is preferred. Candidates should also be adept in integrating technology in the classroom and in creating a wide range of elective courses. Additionally, we seek candidates who are enthusiastic learners, passionate about pedagogy, and interested in collaborating with colleagues on departmental and school-wide objectives.
Ability to coach is desirable. School housing outside of the dormitory is available as part of this package.
