Villa Academy is seeking INTERMEDIATE grade teachers to join our dynamic Lower School faculty. We seek enthusiastic, creative, knowledgeable, and child-centered instructors. The specific grade level will be determined when the full team (two teachers per grade level for grades 3, 4, and 5) is assembled.
Each homeroom teacher will be responsible for the instruction of Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies, Religion, and Second Step/Social Skills (including class meetings) in a self-contained intermediate classroom. Students have specialist teachers for Library, World Language, Music, PE. Art and Technology.
A knowledge and love of intermediate students, desire to utilize Villa’s amazing outdoor campus as part of the classroom experience, and willingness to work collaboratively with a grade level partner and the intermediate team are desired qualities.
