The Admissions and Financial Aid Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Admissions and Financial Aid office. S/he reports directly to the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. Responsibilities include:
Provide telephone, email, direct mail, and in-person support to all families making inquiry and application to St. Albans, serving as the initial and primary contact between families and the Admissions and Financial Aid Office
Help families gain a full understanding of the School and its programs
Manage admissions calendar and monitor online tour appointment scheduling for Lower School and shadow visit appointments for Upper School
Greet and welcome all prospective families coming in for general information, tours and scheduled interviews
Maintain admissions and financial aid paper and electronic files, including the School’s online admissions database (Ravenna Solutions)
Attend and provide support for testing days, open house, school fairs, orientations, and other weekend and after-hours office events as requested
Update the school’s admissions website with important dates, information about the application process
Compile statistical data for internal and external surveys and reports
Order and update office materials and supplies
Support the mission of the School
Other duties as assigned
A Bachelor’s Degree is required and 3-4 years of work experience in a similar role is preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with the ability to multitask; possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; communicate clearly and professionally orally and in written form; and a have a keen attention to detail. The position requires strong computer skills, and candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office. Extra consideration will be given to candidates with experience or proficiency working with Ravenna Solutions software.
