Mountain Lake Christian School seeks a full-time Director of Business and Development beginning in the 2018/2019 school year. The Director will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of both Mountain Lake and Fairmont Christian schools, responsible for all business and fundraising functions. The Director will Chair the Executive Leadership Team made up of the Secondary and Elementary Principals, who have responsibility for the academic functions of the schools. The Director will report directly to the School Board.
Manage school operations including IT, transportation, facilities, and food service.
Manage financial operations including budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Manage risk and legal obligations including insurance policies, state-required reports, and legislative/judicial updates.
Manage human resources including hiring, benefits, and coordinating professional development.
Develop and maintain a fundraising calendar of events and personal visits to ensure annual fundraising goals are met.
Establish an alumni network with the goal of increasing alumni giving.
Develop a marketing plan to increase the awareness of and enrollment in each school.
Maintain a relationship with and serve on the Board of Trustees of the Christian Leadership Foundation.
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
* Master’s degree in Business, Education, or related field.
* Ability to articulate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
* 5+ years of administrative experience
* Experience in education
* Non-profit experience
* Prior fundraising experience
