ENROLLMENT MANAGER (Full Time, Non-Exempt) The Ellis School is Pittsburgh’s only age 3 to grade 12 independent school dedicated to the education of girls and young women. Ellis is seeking a warm, highly organized, tech-savvy Enrollment Manager to provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current students and families as a first point of contact in the Ellis admission process, and to support the enrollment management team through events, volunteer coordination and programming, and office management. The Manager will report to the Director of Enrollment Management.

Usher prospective families through every step of the admission process, from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring flawless customer service and building relationships with parents and students
Organize customized student and parent visits
Welcome visitors and tour prospective families and students
Execute events to drive recruitment, enrollment, and retention
Develop, implement, and steward volunteer programs for current students and parents, recent alumnae, past parents, and faculty/staff
Act as a liaison between faculty and families
Review applicant files and prepare Admission Committee presentations
Ensure a positive first impression for prospective families when answering phone calls and responding to digital inquiries
Support Enrollment Management team in data entry, maintenance, and reporting, and communication with families through online tools
Process and maintain student records and office files, prioritizing confidentiality
Manage Google Drive files, documents, and settings on behalf of Enrollment Management team
Aid in coordinating Enrollment Management calendars, including scheduling appointments and events
Remain current on research relating to education trends and all-girls education
Maintain expertise in all things Ellis
Qualifications, Characteristics, and Skills
A Bachelor’s degree (required)
Preference will be given to candidates with 2-5 years of work experience. Experience in admission and/or sales in the independent school sector would be particularly appealing.
Preference will be given to candidates with strong computer skills, including database management (Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps required; background in Blackbaud | WhippleHill (specifically onBoard).

Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to edit the written work of others
