St. James' enrolls 370 students in Preschool through Grade Six. Along with strong training in core academics, the School offers enrichment through classes in the arts, in the sciences, in religion, in Spanish, in library, and in physical education.
St. James' is seeking a Play Facilitator to work on the playground at the elementary K-6 campus. The successful candidate will supervise students during free and organized play ensuring their safety while assisting them in building physical strength and capability.
Undergraduate degree or relevant coursework. Must be physically able to lift 30-40 lbs. Must be reliable and considerate of other colleagues. Must have a sincere interest in working in support of children. Sound understanding of developmental characteristics of and affection for students Preschool through Grade 6. Experience working with elementary-age children. A high energy level and a courteous, outgoing disposition. Basic First Aid and CPR certificates preferred but not required.
The position begins ASAP. Hours are full time, Monday thru Friday and come with a full benefits package. Position pays $16.00 per hour to start.
