Director of Leadership & Community Engagement This position is responsible for the Leadership and Service programs in the Pembroke Hill Upper School. It requires an individual who is a self-starter, able to make connections with existing Pembroke Hill programs, able to forge new relationships – in and out of the school – and someone who is able to develop and implement a collaborative vision. This individual will work to implement the upper school leadership curriculum, and work collaboratively with faculty to identify and coordinate opportunities for students to serve the community. Other responsibilities may include teaching one to two courses in Social Studies or Spanish. This is a school-year position and will begin in August 2018.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Min. 1-3 years experience in an educational institution, preferably as a teacher.
A detail-oriented approach to work.
Outstanding communication skills including writing, listening and public speaking.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Must possess the energy, patience and skill to work with students in a variety of grades.
Strongly prefer prior experience with community service organizations.
Proficiency in Spanish or previous experience teaching social studies at the high school level a strong plus.
