Williamsburg Northside School (WNS) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Spanish teacher for the 2018-19 school year. Spanish instruction begins with the preschool students, age 3 and continues through the middle school years. The ideal candidate will be able to work cross-divisionally with both preschool and lower school students, and work collaboratively with the upper grades Spanish teacher to develop a comprehensive world language program that fosters a love of language and appreciation for culture.
The ideal candidate will be an educator with:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Spanish
Two or more years of successful classroom experience teaching a world language program
Teaching experience with implementing technology and multimedia in the classroom
A proven commitment to the development of young people as individual learners
A track record of collaboration with colleagues
