Randolph School is seeking a Physical Education Teacher/Varsity Football Coach to begin August 2018.
Responsibilities: Instruct students ranging from Kindergarten to eighth grade in the theory and practice of physical education. Create interesting lesson plans that establish clear objectives meeting the NASPE standards, effectively communicate those objectives to students and implement them. Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Effectively communicate students' progress to parents throughout the school year in both written and verbal forms. Serve as a class advisor to students as well as coach two interscholastic sport seasons with one sport being football. Football coaching needs range from varsity offensive or defensive coordinator to varsity position(s) coach.
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate a strong understanding of independent schools and the role of athletics in the mission and to applicants with significant varsity football coaching experience.
Education Requirements: Minimum of bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Studies or equivalent.
