Fayerweather Street School is seeking a PreK-2nd After School Lead Teacher and Program Coordinator for our younger after school program as part of a four person team. We are seeking an energetic educator who is interested in bringing their expertise, talents and hobbies to an already creative team. Approximately 45 students attend throughout the week with 30 + students on any given day.
Leading and coordinating the team to develop a well rounded program that explores children’s interests and guides 3-8 year-olds while supporting the development of social & communication skills.
Work with the team to plan and implement games, arts/crafts, sports, outdoor play etc.
Manage budget and ensuring appropriate supplies and materials are available.
Serve as point person when communicating with parents.
Coordinator and organize daily, weekly schedules.
Work with the business office to coordinate with outside vendors and enrichment activities.
After school teachers also have the opportunity to be substitute teachers in the classroom during the day.

Additional Salary Information: Plus eligibility to participate in medical and dental plan.
