Job Description Stuart Hall for Boys is a division within Schools of the Sacred Heart, San Francisco, serving boys in grades K-8. Stuart Hall is seeking an experienced Music Teacher who is passionate about engaging, motivating and working with students of this age and who will differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles. The ideal candidate will have had experience with leading and accompanying vocal groups with both boys and girls
MA preferred and/or valid CA Teaching Credential
Relevant classroom experience (2+ years)
Expertise in music instruction
Must be able to play an accompanying instrument (piano, guitar) \
Excellent communication skills with both boys, girls and adults
History of collegiality and collaboration with other teachers and administrators
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning profiles
Innovative, creative, and flexible teaching style
Understanding of the developmental needs of students at this age and how they learn best
Ability to integrate technology into the curriculum and familiarity with electronic communication modes/tools
Desire to actively support the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria
