The Payroll ADP Benefits Associate will be responsible for accurately preparing, processing and maintaining payroll and related records for a semi-monthly payroll. In addition they will be responsible for maintaining the HR system and other Human Resources processes. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Process semi-monthly payrolls
Prepare manual checks as needed for payroll adjustments and terminations
Audit timecard data - administer corrective measures as needed
Maintain compliant payroll records and employee files
Maintain, as needed, updated schedule information in the time and attendance system
Review and prepare incoming data and information for payroll processing
Generate and distribute payroll reports and information to appropriate parties for month-end procedures and regulatory reportings/filings
Analyze and transmit 403b contribution/loans/ER match report semi-monthly
Administer Health Benefit Annual Enrollment & other Plan changes
Fiscal year-end audits – Financial (Payroll, 403b, and Worker’s Comp)
Generate reports in Excel and/or queries through ADP i-Reports
Respond to requests for payroll verification and other payroll related inquires
Maintain compliance with wage garnishment responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory topics, company policies and departmental procedures
Act as company resources for questions regarding payroll policies and procedures
Special Projects: Payroll Fiscal and Calendar Year-End reports; 403b and Worker’s Comp Year-End reports; miscellaneous surveys
Other duties as assigned
Require 3-5 years experience processing payroll
ADP experience required (Workforce Now; HRB; Time and Attendance products preferred)
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Exceptional confidentiality, organizational and prioritization skills
Solid understanding of wage and hour laws, payroll laws and Federal/State regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
