The MS Administrative Assistant is essential to the daily success of students in the division, as this person supports all constituent groups while enabling the team to function as an integral unit. The Administrative Assistant is engaged in all aspects of middle school life while working to support the Head of Middle School. Essential components include communications, scheduling, event planning, administrative tasks, and any additional responsibilities to be determined by the Middle School Head in order to help facilitate the function of the division
Facilitate communication among all constituent groups--faculty, staff, students, and parents, by assisting with calls, publications, electronic communication, etc.
Provide administrative support to the MS Admin team, in addition to supporting school-wide projects, division initiatives, and classroom excellence
Coordinate and maintain school-wide software for substitutes and faculty absences, and manage the substitutes for MS
Maintain records for school credit card for Middle School and assist with budget concerns
Maintain student database for current families, communicate any changes as needed, and run necessary reports, address labels, class lists, etc.
Assist with special events such as faculty meetings, advisory activities, awards assemblies, field trips, weekly trivia, etc.
Provide Registrar support for MS as related to grade reporting and record-keeping
Maintain the MS supply budget and ordering of materials
Bachelor’s Degree required, 2-4 years of experience in an administrative assistant role
