Specific Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Ability to facilitate communication between staff, students and/or parents for the purpose of evaluating situations; applying leadership skills within a shared decision-making model, solving problems and resolving conflicts.
Develop and manage school culture.
To counsel students when necessary, working closely with the school counselor to strategize specific responses
Mastery of ELA instruction including classroom experience.
Provide professional development and coaching in modern instructional strategies and methods across all content areas.
Experience developing STEM program as well as project based learning experience.
A Masters degree in education or administration
5 years of teaching experience and/or in an instruction leadership role at the Middle School level required
Administrative certification and experience preferred
