Parker School seeks a Math Teacher to instruct upper school students in a college-preparatory environment. This full-time faculty member will teach five full-year classes of math including one section of calculus, communicate with students, families, and colleagues, fulfill faculty duties, and participate in extracurricular activities.
Qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree in mathematics (advanced degree preferred) and three to five years of experience teaching a range of math classes including calculus.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: willingness and ability to learn, participate, and be active in a private school community; strong problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills; self-motivated with high work standards and attention to detail.
