The Annual Fund Director has a convincing track record of developing and implementing an effective, comprehensive annual fund program. Reporting to the Director of Advancement and collaborating with the advancement staff, this manager develops and implements the annual fund strategies and programs that include the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual gifts from trustees, alumni, parents, and friends, including personal solicitations, e-communication, and direct mail. This key leader has direct contact with a diverse, passionate, intellectual and extremely well educated contributor and volunteer base.
An experienced and motivated Annual Fund Director with strong strategic and tactical management skills and a determined commitment to purpose will help the institution realize its long-term financial goals.
Bachelor's degree and three to five years of successful fundraising experience. Annual Fund experience preferred.
Will demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices associated with fundraising in independent schools, including direct mail, telephone solicitations, and reunion giving and donor relations.
Strong computer and analytical skills are required along with excellent writing skills.
