Children’s House Montessori School was established in scenic Camden, Maine in 1979 and serves children from 18 months through Fourth grade. The Executive Director must possess strong commitment to furthering the school’s mission and is responsible for overall management of school operations including finance and budget, personnel and faculty , enrollment, safety and licensing compliance, physical plant maintenance, marketing, and development.
Qualified candidates should understand the principles of Montessori education and have a deep love for and appreciation of children and families. In addition, the Executive Director will demonstrate collaborative leadership and maintain a vibrant spirit of school community. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, diplomacy, and the ability to balance multiple demands and set priorities. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors.
