St. Luke’s School, a secular, college-preparatory day school serving grades 5 through 12 in New Canaan, Connecticut, seeks a full-time Admissions Associate to join its fast-paced, high-energy team committed to the exceptional growth and success of the School. The Admissions team holds itself to the highest standards of innovative thinking, integrity, and customer service and experience. We enthusiastically and actively build relationships with a diverse group of students and their families as we guide them successfully through the admissions and enrollment process.
The Admissions Associate reports to the Director of Admission and works closely with the Admissions Team in achieving enrollment targets. We are seeking an energetic, collaborative team member to support all aspects of St. Luke’s high-touch, strategic enrollment management process. The Admissions Associate will be a key, first point of contact for both Middle and Upper school applicants and families. Customer service, communication with prospective families, and database management will be significant components of this role. Our ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, a flexible and creative self-starter, and a proactive partner. Candidates must be committed to a team concept and have an interest in and enthusiasm for St. Luke’s leadership education as defined below. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Direct workflow of the Office of Admission so as to assure an extraordinary experience for the prospective student and family.
Serving as a first contact for families researching SLS, support all phases of the admissions process and enthusiastically represent the student experience and mission of the school.
Ensure a best-in-class, high-touch experience by emphasizing the personal aspect of the SLS admissions process, providing exceptional customer service, and creating welcoming interactions for each prospective student and family.
Manage the full-cycle of the admissions process from inquiry submission to enrollment in the OnBoard database. Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all student records (paper or online), track applicant status, move completed applications to review, and assist applicants throughout the admissions and enrollment process.
Provide accurate and timely communication to families. Manage the admissions email inbox and respond to telephone and in-person inquiries in a prompt and courteous fashion.
Arrange, schedule and coordinate campus tours, applicant interviews, shadow days and other school visits. Manage online scheduling process and communicate dates and requirements to families.
Contribute to the planning of and attend all admissions events including Sunday Open Houses, Welcome Wednesdays, yield days, and off-campus receptions. Attendance at all admissions events is required; some require weekend or evening participation.
Assist in coordinating Student Ambassador and Parent Volunteers for admissions activities, including admissions events, campus tours and interviews.
Work with Communications Department to update admissions information and events on the St. Luke’s School website.
Act as liaison with third-party partners involved in the SLS admissions process (e.g. testing organizations).

Experience utilizing a range of technologies and applications associated with Word, Excel, Google applications, general database management and query.
Interest in working and connecting with 5th-12th grade students and their families.
