HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy is located in University City, Philadelphia. We provide a day program as well as boarding options to students with Cerebral Palsy, promoting independence and improving the quality of life for youth in a safe and secure environment.
We are currently seeking a full-time Development Coordinator. Responsibilities include working with the Board, Executive Director, and school leadership in raising funds to enhance school and residential projects and programs, generating support among the community for the school and its missions, and administering donor acknowledgements and reporting, and maintaining the database.
The candidate must have exceptional interpersonal and persuasive skills, along with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills and a history of successfully funded grant applicants.
In order to be considered, candidates must be professional, organized and approachable, and capable of effectively engaging others.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, 5 years progressive experience in all aspects of Development, including donor cultivations, grant writing and planning special events.
