Maret is looking for a part-time, one-year teacher for our upper school Humanities opening. Ideal candidates would have a minimum of 3-5 years experience teaching upper school English and/or upper school World History. This position will entail teaching one or two courses for the 2018-2019 school year and will begin in mid-August. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching issues of equity and inclusion through a study of diverse cultures and communities throughout the world with an emphasis on non-Western cultures. Maret's Humanities Department is a close-knit, supportive environment with a collegial atmosphere. We welcome lifelong learners willing to grow as teachers and mentors. Applicants who have an appreciation for interdisciplinary approaches to learning preferred.
