Newark Academy has an opening for a boys and girls fencing head coach for the 2018-2019 school year.
The successful applicant for this position will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, a minimum of three years coaching experience and passion for the sport of Fencing. Experience teaching or working in an educational setting is preferred but not required. This candidate should be an excellent communicator, energetic, with proven people and managerial skills who relishes the opportunity to work with a diverse group of young men and women in a situation where academics are priority one. Experience in independent schools, or higher education will be looked upon favorably.
The successful candidate will report to the Athletic Director in managing the entire Fencing program, which currently includes upper and middle school teams.
Newark Academy is an independent day school located in Livingston, New Jersey, a 40 minute drive from mid-town Manhattan. Newark Academy is non-sectarian and coeducational.
