The Newgrange, INC, is a private, non-profit education organization dedicated to empowering people with learning differences. Newgrange Inc., includes The Laurel School of Princeton, The Newgrange School and the Ann Robinowitz Education Center.
Responsibilities: The Director of Institutional Advancement is responsible for all enrollment, marketing and fundraising activities of the organization.
In collaboration with the Head of Schools and Executive Director, create a vision, direction, and comprehensive advancement plan, including donor recognition, marketing plan and enrollment management plan
Determine goals for alumni and parent engagement
Determine goals for overall fundraising efforts
Develop strategies to encourage parents to participate and to support the school’s mission
Maintain ongoing personal contact with all constituents of Newgrange, Inc.
Plan and implement all fundraising events
Maintain an enrollment management and donor management database
Other duties as assigned by the Head of Schools and Executive Director
Attributes: Timely, accurate, and effective in handling projects and tasks; Ability to meet deadlines; Ability to produce results independently and in a team environment; Good command of the English language, oral and written.
Director of Institutional Advancement position will operate under the day-to-day supervision of the school Executive Director and oversee the overall direction in admissions, marketing and fundraising.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related experience in admissions, marketing and/or fundraising.
High degree of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
