The Rashi School is now seeking a dynamic musician to provide music during our weekly Minyan services and other occasional special events, holidays, and programs. This position requires 8 to 9 hours weekly, (Mondays and Thursdays 8am to 12pm, plus the possibility of Fridays 2pm to 3pm). The Song Leader works closely with School Rabbis to prepare for weekly services and other school events.
Knowledge of Jewish music and Jewish worship.
Ability to play guitar as an accompaniment for a large group of singers.
High level of professionalism, punctuality, preparedness, and enthusiasm.
Proven success engaging with and working with Elementary and Middle School students.
Interpersonal communication skills that display a collaborative, team-oriented work style.
