Qualifications: The successful candidate for the Assistant to the Upper School Director position will offer excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task successfully in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent communication skills, the ability and desire to work collaboratively with others, and personal integrity are essential. Mastery in Microsoft Office is essential. Bachelor’s degree required, as is a minimum of five years previous success in an Executive Assistant capacity. Experience in an academic environment with Blackbaud knowledge is preferred.
Reports to: Upper School Director
Responsibilities: The Assistant to the Upper School Director is primarily responsible for the administration and management of the Director’s schedule, daily operations and special events. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Manages the activities and projects emanating from the Upper School office
Maintains the Upper School Director’s calendar
Act as initial contact with students and parents both in person and by phone
Generates Reports thru Whipple Hill/Blackbaud
Oversees student Clubs
Responds to telephone and e-mail inquiries in a timely manner
Drafts correspondence and reports for Upper School Director’s review
