Job Title: Development Associate / Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Director of Development
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: This assistant position reports directly to, and provides direct support to the Director of Advancement and serves as office manager. While a direct report to the director of advancement, s/he is responsible for general office administration and support as well by providing organizational support to the assistant director/alumni affairs and the family liaison, and other members of the advancement team. Providing clerical and accounting support, database management, assistance with the coordination of special events, communications and grant-related activities of the organization are key aspects of the day-to-day activities for this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite, database management and social media applications.
Ability to work in a professional, team-oriented small office environment and successfully interact with and assist donors and community leaders.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality required.
Performs all data entry and donor acknowledgement relevant to all donor giving.
Provides reports and statistics on giving to staff and updates the Trinity Prep Fund sign and the website statistics.
Assists with all department specials events including, but not limited to, Golden T, Homecoming, Reunions, alumni parties, Grandparent’s Day, Auction, Headmaster’s Reception and New Parent events.
Covers reception desk as assigned by the assistant to the Head of School.
Though not often, the ability to work nights and weekends is a core job requirement.
Must be able to pass a Jessica Lunsford Level II background check
Must be able to pass a drug test.
