St. Mark's School seeks an engaging, personable individual as the Front Desk Receptionist Manager. This important front-line position represents the School with a warm demeanor for visitors and is responsible for the management of the receptionist team. This includes ensuring this front desk is fully staffed at all times and that operational efficiency is consistently maintained. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, 7:30am to 4:30am, Monday through Friday.
Education, experience, skills:
Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, a high standard of professionalism, basic competency in computer applications (Microsoft Office), the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and enjoy working with high school students.
5-10 years of management experience in a reception role or commensurate role is required.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversight of the reception team, including managing and setting the schedules for both weekdays and weekends.
Greet visitors and assist in making them feel welcomed and comfortable
Handle visitor sign-in and visitor badges
Assist other departments with various administrative support duties
During the admission season, provide critical support to the admission process by ensuring guests are greeted and the appropriate admission team-members are contacted.
Assist with student package notification, distribution and inventory
Maintain the school vehicle reservation calendar and regulate keys to appropriate faculty/staff
Updating school boarding database at certain times and provide support for student check-outs at certain times of the day
