Boston University Academy is seeking a part-time athletics intern for the 2018-2019 academic year. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics. The athletics intern will assist in the management and supervision of athletic activities within the BUA Athletics and Physical Education program 6-8 hours per week. Responsibilities include: assisting with attendance and supervision of the Wednesday afternoon Physical Education program (1:30-3:45 pm); creating organizational spreadsheets for teams and programs; supervising home athletic events and score tables; set up and breakdown for home competitions; organization and ordering of team uniforms; and occasionally driving a twelve-passenger van to events.
Boston University Academy is as small, independent, co-educational day high school located on the Boston University campus. BUA participates in the MBIL (Mass. Bay Independent League) for soccer, cross country, basketball, tennis, and Ultimate Frisbee. The school also competes independently in crew and fencing.
