The school seeks a dynamic individual to lead our Middle School after-school program, Moosetracks. Moosetracks runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 – 6 pm throughout the academic school year.
Description of a typical day:
Each afternoon begins with a snack from our on-campus snack bar followed by 45 minutes of engaged play, which might include enrichment activities, playing Foursquare or basketball, cheering on athletic teams, or playing board games. The afternoon closes with about an hour focusing on homework, during which time the after-school teacher will provide homework assistance and help with study and organizational skills.
Direct supervision of students
Engaging students in creative and athletic recreational activities
Assisting students with organization and good study habits in the completion of homework assignments
Candidates should have
An undergraduate degree
Experience supervising Middle School aged children in a structured setting
A desire to contribute to Westtown’s values and mission
