Kents Hill School is looking for an individual who is highly organized, able to multitask, highly creative, a strong communicator, and is able to work collaboratively with dedicated teammates in a motivated, high energy office. Expertise with Google Drive is required. Expertise in Photoshop InDesign and/or Illustrator is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar database is preferred, however, skills, work ethic, flexibility, and enthusiasm are the most important qualities for this position. The Events, Media and Stewardship Coordinator reports to the Assistant Head of School for Advancement.
Events The coordinator will proactively plan, coordinate, and manage all Advancement Office events, including (but not limited to) major events such as the Annual Community Dinner for students, faculty, and parents; the Holiday Reception; The Marlee Golf Tournament; and Alumni Reunion Weekend.
Digital Media & Communications
The successful candidate will also demonstrate a keen interest and ability to work with Kents Hill’s Advancement web pages and graphically design brochures, presentations, and digitally enhance photos. A demonstrable understanding of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator are preferred, but we will train the right candidate. This position works closely with both the Director of Communications and Marketing and the Associate Director of Advancement.
Kents Hill has several scholarship funds for current students. Our goal is to connect the students with the donors and families who have given the scholarships. This position will make that connection and ensure donors are communicated with effectively and creatively. This position will also seek other creative ways to recognize and appreciate our supporters.
