The Buckley School has an opening for a part-time Middle School robotics teacher beginning in the fall of 2018. This is a 1/5 position. This teacher will be responsible for all aspects of teaching our curriculum and will help students prepare for the 2018-2019 VEX middle school division competition and/or a comparable local robotics tournament.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field
Familiarity with VEX or similar robotic design systems
Two years of teaching or relevant work experience, preferably working with middle school students.
Demonstrated proficiency in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Demonstrated proficiency in technology
Exceptional ability to collaborate with faculty and administrative colleagues
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Additional Salary Information: Compensation is based on degree and years of teaching experience
